UniHeat Heat Pack

HEAT PACKS ARE ACTIVATED UPON SHIPPING AND SHOULD ONLY BE PURCHASED WITH A LIVE PLANT/ANIMAL ORDER. 

Uniheat Shipping Warmers are single-use disposable shipping warmers that are designed for steady heat release in closed shipping containers They are excellent for shipping live insects, reptiles, tropical fish, flowers, etc. The packs are individually packaged and easy to use. Simply open up the outer bag to expose the pack to air. Pre-heating is not necessary.

• Do not allow the shipping packs to get wet as this will instantly and permanently deactivate them.
• One warmer can generally raise approximately 10° to 15° in a cubic foot insulated box
• Warmer may stop generating heat if the temperature inside the shipping box falls below freezing

Please add a heat pack (or 2 if you have a large order) to your cart if the temperature in your state is expected to be below freezing (32f) or below 60F for shrimp and snails. 

NOTE: Depending on the time in transit and temperatures along the route of Delivery, the heat pack might not stay warm for long as it stops working if the temperature in the box gets below 32F. We do our best to add as much insulation as we can to the packages, but we would highly suggest adding Heat Reflective Insulation to your order as well if your local temperatures are well-below 32F.
